What is pottery painting?
Walk in and paint your choice of hundreds of ready to paint ceramic pieces! We are constantly ordering new items, so our walls of pottery are every changing.
Pottery painting is a great activity for every age and ability! There is something for everyone to paint in our studio.
We use high quality glaze paints so your pottery turns out with rich colors and a beautiful shiny surface. Come in and paint with us!
What can I make?
What type of projects can I make?
Our walls are lined with hundreds of different ready-to-paint ceramics. Choose anything from a small figurine, a bank, dishes and bowls, cookie jars, and much MUCH more!
Who can come in to paint pottery?
Anyone can come in to paint your own pottery! PYOP is a great activity for every age.
When can I take home my painted pottery?
Please allow 1 week for your pottery piece to be fired in our kiln. For a more specific schedule, feel free to ask your local studio.

Pottery Painting: Walk-In Activity
Choose your own adventure with pottery painting!
Step 1: Choose your pottery item
We have 100’s of bisque items to choose from. Choose from plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, vases, boxes, pet food dishes, holiday items, figurines and much more!
Step 2: Plan out your design
We have all kinds of fun tools to make it easy to paint. You don’t need to be an artist. Over 100 colored glazes to choose from, plus stencils, silk screens, tracing paper and more to help you with your design.
Step 3: Paint your design
Use brushes, sponges, fingers, hands or feet to add glaze to your piece. We will teach you the basics about glazes and how to get the outcome you are after. Check out our finished pieces for inspiration. You can always check out Pinterest or http://www.ilovetocreate.com for more inspiration.
Step 4: Leave it and we will fire it in the kiln
When you are done, leave it to dry. We will make it food safe and kiln fire it at over 1,000°! Your piece will be ready for pick up about 1 week later.

Best Paint Your Own Pottery
This is the best paint your own pottery place I’ve experienced. The set up is really top notch. It has plenty of space and supplies for a very reasonable price. The staff is helpful. The pottery portion is walk in and painting and glass blowing is by appointment. I’ll definitely go back, maybe even without my granddaughter to tackle something a bit more challenging or take a class.
